Being happy always has its struggles and most are easier than the others but what if some things they told you to become happy were just some myths. That’s exactly what the website i stumbled upon embraced how there’s two main myths people tell you so you can have  a happy life and those are #1 Don't worry be happy and that everything is going to be okay which go hand to hand. They speak of how optimist are just believers and sort of program their brain to think everything is going to be alright when sometimes its not. This is true in some cases but what’s life without some positive thoughts and firm believing we all need something to believe in to keep us going why not let it be positive.

The Uses and Abuses of Optimism



Optimism isn’t just a word it’s a way of living we all have those people that see the light at the end of the road and those are the ones we like to call optimists. The article makes it seem that the rhetoric for being sad isn’t always dealing with a pessimist that it’s just happens within. What i mean by that is that being pessimist doesn’t always mean you’re sad and gloomy all the time it may just be that you’re having a bad day. The article makes it seem that people force themselves to be happy which in some instances they do but that’s their choice nobody else’s. When people pretend to be happy their only lying to themselves but when people genuinely try to be happy it makes a whole lot of a difference even if it’s a tiny one.

Testing Us



This article speaks of how psychologists and gurus speak that in order to live a happy life you have to be happy with the world and that its total bologna because life is always trying to bring you down. This statement may be true but in reality life is always testing us and pushing our buttons always pushing us to our breaking point but the main difference between an optimist and  pessimist is that a pessimist will just let life beat you down all the way to the ground and let the depression consume you and turn you into this bitter sad person while optimist allow life to throw challenges at them yet still overcome with ease not allowing that negativity run their life and show them that they are in control of their own happiness.

The idea


The website I stumbled upon was 15 ways to get happy at first it starts of with the author writing about their success and then goes directly to 15 ways to stay happy. Because being happy is a choice not an option.With this website it gives you nothing but good advise and easy steps to follow and its up to you to decide whether you want to follow them or not. It talks about cutting of the negativity from your life by endorphins just by simply walking your pet or going for a jog will make a huge difference and make you feel a lot better. Indulge in your passions remember what makes you happy, your dreams, aspirations anything that pushes you to become the person you want to be. We all have that happy inner  person just waiting to come out we just have to let open a small crack in our heart to let it shine. One of the steps says to laugh because laughing is the best medicine to cure a bad day it forces us to smile and when we laugh were not letting the bad vibes take us over and instead enjoying the good times with good people. Another step is enjoy the simple things instead of worrying about things that only cause you stress and depression enjoy that you woke up in the morning and given another day to live enjoy your family and loved ones. Just enjoy the small things because they are not always going to be here and when their gone were going to regret not appreciating them when we had the chance. This step is my favorite our of all of them because as much as we all have those terrible days there's always something good that's going in our life but were just to blind to notice it. We indulge and let the bad things in our life consume us that we don't realize that there's better things going on in our life that we rarely appreciate. This article helps me better explain my ideals that I plan to demonstrate my whole blog and make it better and more helpful to those who read it.

A Better You

       The blog I stumbled upon  was  Better YOU and  if it wasn't obvious enough the title says what its going to be about . But that's not all it has different tips and posts you can read to gain some insight on how to be a better you. It even includes a better you radio where it talks every Monday about different scenarios and situations you may be going through that will help you out when you need it. Its a talk show type of thing where it actually gives factual information/ advice that will help you in the long run. Yo may not need it right now but this may be useful for you later in the future you never know what life has in store for you so its better to listen up now. This blog has different things going to the radio, the posts and it even has a store where you can buy some of their merchandise. Some of the merchandise are shirts, mugs you know the usual.It even has a link to a better you project which has to deal with different communities, resources, teleconferences and much more. Just a place where you can talk to other members and just be able to meet new people that have the same opinions like you. This blog I found very intriguing because it demonstrates a lot of what I hope to be bringing in my own blog. This blog is well organized and welcomes any new members to join so they can immediately start becoming a better person inside as well as  outside.
       
      This blog is all about creating a better life, community and world by becoming a Better you! You deserve a Better Life, to have better, be better and do . Much similar to mine this blog demonstrates a similar idea that I have with my blog except mine will have quotes and images to assess my main point and that is that we all deserve to be happy and feel good about ourselves both inside and outside and all it takes is loving ourselves and life to start going into the path of happiness and bliss. All we need is to start looking at the glass half full instead of half empty
This image shows a clear example of optimism because it demonstrates a whole of symbolism within these pictres pictures. The three different jars demonstarte different things that make us happy. The light bulb in the jar shows our knowledge that we decide to put away because we let negativity win and instead of using our brain we just decide to ignore it and block our light to hapiness. The jar with the different color rainbows shows us how we store our rainbow of hapiness away and dont let any form of hapiness. The jar of fish is life and how when were pessimists we close up ourselves and cheat ourselves of the beauty of life. The sun and animations outside show us whats truly beautiful about life and how we blindly jar up our joy.

Hypothesis

Optimism isnt just simply a word but it's a way of living. People often blame others for their troubles but never realize that some negativity comes from within us. If we are negative all the time then bad things are bound to happen to us but if we stay positive good things are more likely to happen. Crazy right. Well the main reason I chose optimism for my blog is because I love staying positive even when life just seems to challenge me and try to break me I don't let it because I keep faith and smile the negativity away. I realized that when it comes to me better things happen when I'm in a positive smiling mood because if I'm the complete opposite and a downer not so good things happen and thus I fall in an endless spiral down to becoming Ms. Grouchy Pants and that's not good for anybody. Enough about me now I want to talk about the driving purpose of my blog  which is to enlighten peoples moods with encouraging words and just brighten their whole day and hopefully bring joy into their lives. I want to be able to bring a smile unto smomeones face even when they don't want to by posting silly pictures, motivational words just things that will help everyone smile because once you smile everyone around you smiles it's contagious trust me.

Optimism


      Everyone has those days where you always seem to ask yourself why me? The article I read is called How to be Optimistic 6 Steps and what this article shows is that being optimistic isn't easy but if you follow those 6 steps anyone can do it.


      Being optimistic has it perks not only does it make you happier but your life a whole lot easier. By not letting negativity get to you are allowing nothing but happiness in your life. I mean sure we all have those bumps in the road where we feel like it’s too much but being pessimist jut adds to those bad vibes. The article talks about leaving the past in the past and just live for the present and future.  By following this step you’re allowing happiness to enter your life instead of letting the negativity of the past affect you. Another step is to see you as a cause, not an effect meaning that you shouldn’t be thinking that you’re the victim all the time. That all the bad things that are happening to you are your fault or that it’s only happening to you because everyone goes through bad times not only yourself. Another rule is that you should always remember life is short so enjoy every moment of it even the bad because let's face it we only live once and should enjoy every last minute of it. The other three rules are similar. It’s tough but you can do it.
